At the base of the bridge to Hilton Head Island, Southern Drawl Outfitters pairs a huge selection of fishing gear with a bottomless well of knowledge from some of the Lowcountry’s experienced old salts. 

With shrimp net, crab pot or rod in hand, it’s time to find your spot. Keep an eye on the tides, then find a spot along the river at the Calhoun Street Dock, Oyster Factory Park or Brighton Beach. (We can personally testify to the presence of some monster red fish in the spartina grass at Brighton Beach at high tide).
